General Laborer
SUMMARY
The Chimney Chap, located in Hanson, is a reputable and growing company who specializes in Home Heating Solutions, Masonry, & Outdoor Living Products. Established in 1980, our primary focus is working with fireplaces, chimneys, venting, and clothes dryer venting, in compliance with Local, State, and National Building Codes performed by CSIA and NFI Certified Industry Professionals. Whether you heat your home with your fireplace, fueled by gas or oil, gas, wood or pellet appliances, the chimney and venting systems must be maintained for an efficient and safe combustion system.
We are located in Hanson, MA, looking to fill a general labor position full OR part time. The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written skills, works well with others, and reliable. RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and a genuine smile.
Ensure you deliver exceptional Customer Service that is consistent and beyond expectations.
Assist with chimney sweeps, cap installations, liner installations
Assist with chimney rebuilds and general masonry
Assist with fireplace & stove installations
Ensures work area is clean at all times
Ensures all tools and equipment is properly stored
Ensures all inventory parts are stocked correctly
REQUIREMENTS
Approximate work schedule and hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. Every other Saturday is required during peak season months (October-February).
2 years construction experience
MUST BE able to lift 40 lbs
MUST BE comfortable on ladders and roof
Must have clear verbal and written communication skills
**All prospective employees must submit to a criminal background check and drug screen.
